The Knott County Prescription Center in Hindman fell victim to a robbery Monday night. Pharmacist and co-owner Todd Hall tells the Times that at 9:19 p.m. two people busted a glass door at the drive-thru and ran inside. The individuals hit two shelves, scooped up two arm fulls of medicine, put it in a bag, and ran outside.
The pharmacy had only been closed 30 minutes prior to the robbery. Security alarms were in place and Hall was notified of the activity. The incident is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police. Anyone with information in connection with the robbery is encouraged to call KSP Post 13 at (606)-435-6069.
