Knott County’s Fall Horse Trail Ride is only two weeks away!
The trail ride officially begins on Thursday, Oct. 3, but many campers arrive days earlier. Gates to the campground will open at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29.
County employees and the Knott County Tourism Commission are working diligently to prepare for this event, which attracts thousands of people to our county.
A reminder to horse owners — proof of Coggins testing and a health certificate are required for each horse attending. State officials randomly check these at any large horse event.
