One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, the joys of celebrating Dr. Seuss.
Perkins Head Start in Hindman has been celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday and doing many activities while enjoying our guest readers come to share Dr. Seuss books with us. We have had the KCC Patriots, KCC Lady Patriots, Kevin Davis, PA, and As- sistant Principal at Hindman Elementary Jennifer Dyer to read books to us and talk about many different things.
Also on Friday, Ms. Billie read Green Eggs and Ham, while Ms. Tammy and Ms. Heather made green eggs and ham. The kids seemed to really enjoy trying them. We also went to the Knott County Public Library and joined them in a small party to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. We had a visit from Ms. LaDonna Collins dressed as up as the Cat in the Hat!!
We are also taking application for ALL children for the upcoming year 2013-2014.
